suomen luonto inspiraationa kuoseissa

The HALOT Design brand has been built for several years, the owner's personal experience with melanoma made him act and search for more information and protective accessories against UV radiation. The goal was to create a Scandinavian, high-quality UV-protected clothing brand, where the nature of Finland serves as inspiration for the nature-loving Miia and her work group. We hope that in the future we will be able to share information about the dangers of UV radiation and be part of a better tomorrow.

The Finnish designer Tuuli Puisto has designed our textile patterns Havu blue and Hilla Gray as inspiration from Finnish Lapland.

Our clothes have a UPF +50 rating. This classification means that only 2% of the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays penetrate the fabric. This gives good protection to your skin! The UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) classification is in accordance with the standard AS/NZS 4399:1996.

We support sustainable development and for this reason, we want to make an impact with our own choices. we pack the products in recycled plastic or cardboard/paper.

All our fabrics and our partners have Oeko-Tex standard 100.

The freight of the products within Europe has been carefully considered so that our carbon footprint remains as small as possible. We do not send paper order confirmations, but order confirmations and other communication work by e-mail halot@halotdesign.fi
